Villa Agung

The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and we made breakfast each morning with fruit, eggs, bread, and milk bought from nearby local shops. There’s also a hot and cold water dispenser in the kitchen, with drinking water that isn’t from the local supply. The staff were kind and very helpful, and everything was spotless. We picked the room with the elephant painting and loved it, especially the newly renovated bathroom. The pool was a perfect temperature and very peaceful to have privately, though it gets really deep in the middle. You can see Mt Agung clearly from just outside the villa. It’s a quiet area with restaurants, shops, and a beach within walking distance. For sightseeing, you’ll need a motorbike or driver. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back for much longer.

My partner and I returned for another three nights in November 2023, after spending a week here with another couple. It had just been renovated and was even better. We can’t wait to come back again. The villa is across the road from the beach, with uninterrupted views over the water to Mount Agung. It’s at the quiet end of town, but local facilities and warungs are an easy walk away. We loved sitting on the veranda, looking over the external wall at the sunsets and boats passing by. You can snorkel off the beach too. We had a great time both visits, highly recommended.

Villa Agung is just a couple of seconds’ walk from the beach, with great views of My Agung. It’s quiet but still close enough to bars and restaurants. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the lounge and dining area between the two rooms is perfect. The staff were friendly and efficient, and took care of everything we needed. If you’re looking for somewhere relaxing to unwind, this is the place.

The villa is around the corner from some wonderful food, and the pool is a relaxing spot at a perfect temperature. In the room, the air conditioning works well, and there’s a big TV and a large bathroom. We had a great two-night stay, and the kitchen is excellent if you want to cook for yourself, with everything you need.
