The location is good, and the Balinese manager was lovely and helpful. But the pool needs maintenance, it was green and dirty. The European owner wasn’t very nice and came into our villa without knocking to complain, which raised serious privacy concerns.

It was quiet and private, with a spot to park our scooter, and the beach was only a short walk away. Staff met us there and showed us to the villa. We were also close to the nice restaurants and bars up the stairs at the end of the beach. The property seemed fairly new, and its layout and considered decor gave it a great feel. The pool was just the right size for cooling off at the end of the day.

The villa looks great, the owner and staff are nice, and breakfast was good. But the neighborhood is noisy, so it’s not a good pick if you want peace and quiet.
