Hotel Setya Syariah

I've stayed here more than five times on work trips to Madiun. For such a cheap rate, it's a very worthwhile budget hotel, and to me it's 1000 times more worthwhile than Amaris. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff are always helpful. Parking is a bit tight, but an employee is always ready to help park your car. Breakfast could use some variety since I've lost count of how often they've served pecel, though it's still fine for the very low price. You can walk to Alun-alun and convenience stores in about five minutes.

The staff at this small hotel are kind, friendly, and very helpful. The room layout seems to put the air conditioner in the wrong spot, though, so it isn't very practical.

It's a bed-and-breakfast kind of place, with clean rooms in a handy spot near the town center. The AC barely cools at all, unfortunately, but you get good value for the money.

The rooms are clean, and the place is only about a year and a half old. There are three room prices, and the staff are friendly. I gave it three stars because smoking is allowed throughout, including in rooms, and the parking is literally in the lobby.
