The parking is the one drawback, since there isn't much space. Still, I'd stay here again if I had another reason to come to Magelang. For a cheap place just to sleep, the room was roomy and kept clean, and the padlock gave me a bit of extra security. They leave mineral water and a heater for coffee or tea, with a hallway dispenser if you need more. There's also a food corner right next door with plenty of choices.

The location was my favorite part. Pharmacies, little shops, and warungs are nearby, and the food, including fried rice and cap cay, was really good. For the price, the room was decent and spacious, handy if you're traveling with family or friends and lots of bags. I wasn't keen on the furniture or decor, but the TV and small fridge worked fine, as did the hot shower and WiFi.

There's no lift, but the staff were friendly and helped carry our things up to the room. I stayed in a clean, tidy room for three. WiFi, hot water, and breakfast were available for guests too.

The rooms were clean and inexpensive, and they gave us breakfast. On arrival there was water, coffee, and tea. The staff were so friendly and helpful even though they didn't speak English at all. Best hotel service I've come across.

I booked through agoda while traveling to Puthuk Setumbu Magelang, and the staff and customer service made me feel very welcome. The hotel was clean and neat, with two bottles of mineral water plus a heater and coffee, tea, and sugar. Perfect. Thanks, Sumber Waras Hotel, I was happy with my stay. I'll write a good review on my Wordpress blog later. 😊
