The pictures in the app made the deluxe rooms look good and clean, and the deals seemed good, so I booked two. In reality, they weren’t clean: there was dust on the floor, a spider web in a corner, and lots of ants on the wall, so I couldn’t hang up towels or clothes. The bed was on the floor, and its springs were terrible. The bathroom was dirty too, with lots of hair in the drain. This isn’t the kind of OYO hotel I usually book when traveling. Even with a good deal, I expect the usual OYO standard.

A little gem along the main road between Magelang and Semarang, in the Secang area. If you’re passing through, kopi klotok is a must-try.
