Front One Inn Muntilan

It’s the only inn with such a convenient spot near terminal Muntilan, and the staff were courteous and helpful. But I found odd marks on the blanket and pillowcase, which made the place feel short on hygiene.

We spent Christmas here for 440K. Check-in was quick, the service was friendly, and the comfortable rooms were clean. The hotel is close to Muntilan Market. There were two bolsters on the bed, plus two pairs of slippers, towels, soap, mineral water, a coffee maker, and other amenities too. A really great city hotel.

The place was small, but sleeping with a bolster pillow gave it a homey feel. Parking was easy, food was easy to find near the traditional market, and the Bakmi jowo was delicious. It also worked well for our high-season visit, about 30 minutes from Borobudur. The place received the traveloka award 2019. We even got a full moon view from in front of the lobby.

The room was clean, neat, and comfortable, and the price was really good for what you get. It isn’t very big, though. My main complaint was the poor soundproofing: I could hear guests talking and walking along the alley from inside my room. The hotel is well placed between ketep pass and borobudur temple, near the main road, convenience stores, food street, and ATMs. Aside from the noise, it’s a good place.
