Fieris hotel & Convention Kertajati

Stayed on sep 13,2025. For a 3 star hotel, it was pretty decent. The room was a good size and the sheets were fresh and clean, plus the shower was better than I usually find at this level. Staff were helpful and friendly, though maybe earlier complaints had led to them being briefed again. It has the basics and a little more, just don't expect anything opulent. Credit to management, keep improving the service and making the most of the staff.

The pool was a real highlight, clean and well looked after, and the area around the hotel is nice for a morning walk or some light exercise. I also liked the container-style design and found the rooms comfortable, clean, and a reasonable size. There's self-service check-in, with the option to drive into the garage and go up to your room, which suited anyone wanting extra privacy, and there's KTV karaoke too. Getting around is easiest if you have a vehicle. The hotel is right by the Kertajati Toll Exit and has easy access to Kertajati Airport, but it's quite far from Majalengka city center and other busy areas, including restaurants and attractions. The rates are very reasonable for what's offered. A few things could be better: the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, the corridor lighting felt too dim, and the breakfast area got hot and could use fans or air conditioning.

Our early departure could have made breakfast difficult, but the front office lady who checked us in arranged takeaway food for 4am. She deserves 100 out of 100 stars. My family was really touched by the gesture, and the meal came with fruit and water bottles. We got a 3am morning call, then the breakfast was ready to take to the airport and the shuttle was waiting. I also salute the driver, who took us back to collect a mobile phone I'd left in the room. The service was TIP TOP. Highly recommended!

The bathroom setup had a couple of small problems. The sink and the glass panel beside it were so close that water splashed out when I washed or leaned forward. The shower was partly open on one side, so water got onto the bathroom floor and made it slippery. Still, I was very satisfied with the stay and thought it was great value. I had a late dinner at the hotel restaurant, which stays open late, and the food tasted good and was priced well. I'll certainly come back when I'm in Cirebon or nearby, and I'd recommend the hotel to other travelers. Since the property spreads over a large area with several floors, having two reception desks might make things more convenient. I chose this hotel because I needed somewhere near the Jatigede Dam with quick onward travel the next day. Arriving yesterday afternoon, I saw the tollgate right beside it, so the highway access was convenient. At reception I got a tasty welcome drink, and the well-trained staff checked me in promptly. One staff member said the hotel had newly opened in November, and it did feel fresh. It was clean and thoughtfully laid out, with the rooms, lounge, restaurant, and pool all adequately managed. During a short lounge meeting, the staff quickly handled my requests for a meeting table, power outlets, and air conditioning adjustments. The room felt carefully prepared, on par with a 4-star hotel in a major city.
