That one-star rating is deserved. The place felt more stressful than restful, and calling it a hotel is a stretch. The room was grimy from the minute I walked in, with stains and caked-on dirt across the fabric surfaces. On the second floor, it seemed like none of the rooms had running water. After a long day, I tried to shower, but only about five holes in the shower head worked. Once I started using the hotel's 2in1 body & hair wash, the water stopped completely. I had to scoop water from the sink with a glass to finish. Ridiculous. The AC was set to 16°C at full power and still felt like a fan. Reception blamed all 20 rooms turning on the water at once. Is that supposed to be an excuse? The hotel took no responsibility.

The location in Solo worked really well, with Sriwedari stadium, a small zoo with deer, and Slamet Riyadi Street, where there's a Car Free Day event, all nearby. Monica & Bagus Dwi gave me clear information during booking about what we'd need, and everyone was welcoming at check-in. Great service.

The room was clean, and the staff treated me really well. I wish I could've stayed longer, but I couldn't relax with loud noise outside the room. Also, people were smoking outside the rooms, and some room doors weren't closed. I don't understand why. Thanks to the staff, though.

The room is reasonably priced and the hospitality was really good. WiFi was quite satisfying compared with other hotels at the same price. There's hot water for showers, plus a water dispenser for drinking. Recommended 👍

There was a strong smell when we got into the room, and the window couldn't be opened. The ventilation isn't proper. The hotel feels very worn out and needs refreshing, so I don't think its current rating is justified.
