The good points are the location, the friendly staff, and the option of daily or monthly rental packages. Still, there's a lot this place could improve. My room was large but poorly maintained: my feet got dusty as soon as I entered, the wall was stained, and there were used cigarettes on the drawers. The layout between the room and bathroom was confusing, with a U-shaped active area and lots of dead space. Amenities were sparse, just one small opened round soap and no bathroom mat. The bathroom, about 1.5 by 2.5 m2, had a dirty toilet, bathtub, and bucket, with a very low water flow. There were large toilet areas on every floor, but no trash can inside the room, so you have to cross the large room and go outside to throw things away. I've worked on countless hotel projects, from 3-5 stars, including retrofitted buildings converted to budget hotels with 2-8 floors. I'm not an architect or interior designer, but I can see what's missing here. I know this hotel is a laboratory for the vocational school next door, though the school may not be responsible for the building's odd design. As a school lab, they could evaluate what's lacking and try to fix it. They could compete with online chain hotel providers like oyo and RedDoorz if they were willing to improve, but they're clearly in a different league from international hotel chains. The three stars on the outside logo are confusing, and the letters are hard to read.
