Hotel O Makassar near Mall Panakukkang formerly Sayang Home Stay

Parking was the only part that seemed adequate. Everything else left me disappointed. My friend booked through an app for 50,000 rupiah and paid there, but at arrival was told to add another 100,000 rupiah because the app rate wasn't accepted and the regular price still applied. The room was shabby and old-fashioned, with a creepy feel. The manual lock sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. There was an LED TV but no remote, and the bathroom was poor too: the shower was broken and the water smelled. Be careful when booking here, it was a really disappointing stay.

It was really frustrating. I booked through the app, but on arrival the price had changed and there was no way to cancel.

The place was so unsuitable that I'd give it minus 100 if I could. The room itself was in bad shape: no windows or trash can, some lights were out, the furniture was rubbish, there were no TV channels, and the WiFi didn't reach the third floor. No tissues either, and the water smelled like iron. The price didn't match the app, and nobody told us in advance. At the location they asked for another 100, but didn't give a receipt for that extra payment. It's very quiet here, and as visitors we can see why. Owner, please fix things. I can't recommend this hotel at all.

The service was satisfactory overall. My only disappointment was that the price at the location turned out different from what the app showed.
