Melia Makassar

Breakfast had a huge choice of foods and was very good. The rooms are spacious, but for the hotel's price I expected better. There were too many stains on the wallpaper and bedding, and although the AC cooled well, the air felt a bit stale.

I always come back to this place when I pass through or stay in Makassar. Check-in is easy, the staff are amazing and really friendly, and the rooms feel cozy and comfortable. The morning buffet is a favorite too. There’s so much on the menu that I end up going back two or three times. Highly recommend staying here!

I've stayed at Melia many times over the past few years, for a couple of nights and sometimes for weeks. Each visit has been perfect, and the warm welcome makes it feel like coming home. I highly recommend Meliá Makassar. Try a room or suite in their LeVeL experience. It's the best!

Even with a full hotel over Christmas, service at Melia Makassar stayed warm and attentive. I was there for 4D3N, and whenever we passed through the lobby, employees greeted us with smiles. The concierge helped receive packages and online food orders. They also stored my breastmilk in the freezer, and although I brought a baby and needed a cot and high chair, both were still available despite all the other families staying there. Check-in and check-out were fast, and the room was comfortable and clean. There were lots of children at the pool, but the busy season didn't seem to lower the service level. Breakfast was good, though the flavors and variety could be better. I appreciated that they served Sulawesi traditional soups and snacks every day. Kapurung, Coto, and Sop Saudara were delicious! It was a pleasant stay, and I'll definitely come back to Melia Makassar when I visit Makassar again. Keep up the good service.
