OYO 329 Hotel Darma Nusantara 2

Lion air changed our flight times and gave us this hotel as compensation. The customer care was poor, with little or no information. The first room was awful: cockroaches, a dirty bathroom, a bad smell, extreme heat, and AC that didn't work. When I complained, they tried to move us. It took 3 rooms before I was okay with one, and that room turned out fine for an overnight stay, which is why I gave 3 stars. The hotel is very dated and smells. They do provide basic dinner and breakfast, so keep that in mind. We went out to eat and were surprised when dinner was brought to us.

Lion Air gave us an overnight stay at Darma Nusantara II after a long day of getting little information about our delayed flight from Maumere to Makassar. We missed our Bali connection as a result, along with our first activities there, so we were relieved to have somewhere arranged. That relief didn't last: cockroaches and cats were walking around the lobby, and the rooms were very dirty. Our bathroom had no toiletpaper, so we had to ask for some. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel. If you get the chance, book somewhere better and pay more, even if this stay is free.

The staff were friendly, but everything else felt low standard and dirty. There were questionable white marks on the sheets, not enough towels, and pretty much everything needs replacing. This comes from someone who's traveled around Asia for years. The place seems to survive on Lion air flight delays. You'd be better off sleeping on the floor outside.

Our flight was canceled and Lion air arranged this room as compensation. It was so bad that we walked straight out and paid for a hotel somewhere else.
