The location was a real plus, right in the city center and close to tourist spots and well-known Makassar food destinations. The room wasn't very large, but it had good natural light from two big windows. Some of the floor was sticky, perhaps because a spill had been missed when the cleaner mopped. I chose the hotel because it's part of an established chain, and the name “Prime” made me expect a decent stay. What let me down most was the water heater. It didn't work late at night, and I wondered if they turned it off to save money. But it was still broken in the morning, and the water stayed cold until I checked out in the afternoon. I hope management pays more attention to things like this so guests will want to return.

The receptionist was helpful, but sadly the driver was stupid. I rented a car for the last day to go to a waterfall, and he didn't help me. I slipped and fell there, and he was also confused about the road. The room was a bit dirty, and the paint on the walls was cracked.

The room was clean, the staff were nice, and early check-in was available, so I'd recommend it as a budget hotel. I still prefer this place to other budget hotels. The door had no secondary lock, though. I might buy a portable one if I stay again. Also, the shower drain seemed too high, and I ended up showering in the middle of a flood.

I only stopped here for a few hours in transit. The rooms were humid and had mold, so they really need work. Maybe it's related to the exterior paint needing repairs and a fresh coat.

After the awful Favor hotel, I was so grateful for this place. It helped me recover from a stressful, dirty experience. Here it was clean and bright, and I felt safe and relaxed.
