The room had new interiors, but comfort details were missing. There was nowhere to store luggage and no place to hang towels to dry in the bathroom. We checked in quickly on a weekday and got a welcome drink, though the room hallway smelled of paint. Renovation work was still going on, especially in the hallways, with workers moving around.

We had a really enjoyable time with the Atria team. The staff were courteous, helpful, and took initiative. The restaurant had a good range of food at reasonable prices.

The breakfast and dinner were delicious, with plenty of variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Atria Hotel Malang is in a strategic spot, has complete facilities, and the price is affordable. Highly recommended, pokoknya!

Our holiday was disrupted by this stay. Building work ran from 08:00am-06:00pm, so there was noise and we had to keep the curtains closed. When we arrived at our room in the evening, there was no hot water and nobody helped. We hadn't been told when booking that all facilities, including the swimming pool, would be closed. Since the pool mattered to us, they could have suggested nearby alternatives, but didn't. They also gave us no help when we needed to move to another hotel.

The pool was being renovated while we were there, which may account for the affordable rate. We didn't try breakfast, so I can't comment on it. Parking was spacious and convenient. Our room was roomy and cozy, with a nice view, and the TV had a very clear picture and internet access. The bathroom felt cramped and could use hooks for towels and clothes. A solid value for a stay in Malang.
