The common areas were modern and well kept, a nice spot to unwind after exploring the city. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, this is a good option. I had an amazing stay at Butik Capsule Hotel in Malang. The capsules were comfortable, clean and thoughtfully designed, with privacy while still feeling cozy. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always smiling and sharing good local tips. You can feel how much they care about making guests feel at home. Highly recommend it for a convenient, welcoming and budget-friendly stay.

For such a cheap price, this place was surprisingly clean and quiet. Each bed comes with two pillows, a blanket, mirror, reading light, plugs and hangers. Facilities include separate male and female areas, a lounge, sink, toilet, bathroom, cutlery, lockers, prayer mats, CCTV, a 24-hour access key and a personal computer. I bet it’s the best hostel in Malang.

The bed, dining room and toilets were all clean, and the service was great. The receptionist was friendly, and they provide lockers, a hairdryer and basic toiletries. Each bed has a curtain, lamp, mirror and other things, so it feels like your own private space. Nice, comfy hostel, really recommended for solo or group travelers on a budget.

I stayed at this guest house a few months ago. It was super clean and comfortable, and I’d really recommend it for solo travel. Female guests on the second floor can use a free locker and hairdryer. They also offer free tea, coffee and toast for breakfast, plus a cozy garden. The owner and staff were nice.
