The location is the one good thing. Everything else was awful: the sink leaked, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the noisy AC was very disturbing. The room was humid, there was no accessible power outlet, and no mineral water was provided. Worst of all, the Wi-Fi wouldn’t reach our room. They had a repeater, but somehow there was still no connection. I’ve stayed in many cities, and this was the worst room I’ve ever checked into. If you only need somewhere to sleep for one night, I think there are better options at the same price.

The room at Djuragan Kamar Bandahara felt clean, tidy, and homey, with a TV and refrigerator. There’s also a shared kitchen and free refill water gallon. Getting there is easy, and it’s close to the city. One of my best experiences in Malang, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.

A clean, affordable stay in a residential area, so it’s peaceful and quiet. Public places are still pretty close by.
