I stayed at Fendi’s Homestay once as a kid, and it still feels just as cozy and homey. I was comfortable there, like I was at home. The staff are polite and friendly, and they'll gladly give you a spare key if you need one. The lobby has old-style touches, including a radio, old jars, and vintage photographs. My first-floor room was small, but fine. The air conditioner and water heater both worked perfectly, so showering was comfortable. There's free wifi, and the bathroom has a kind of 2-in-1 soap. It's also in a great spot near a bakery and restaurants. I'd recommend it for a short stay in Malang.

For a middle-budget traveler making a short visit to Malang, this is a great location. Nearby are Donatello and Blossom, Gang Djangkrik (pork), GL8 (pork), KFC, Widari (pork), Pecel Kawi (No Pork), Ranch Market, Periplus, STMJ Sentot, and more local food vendors.

We ended up staying for 16 nights and would have stayed longer if it hadn't been fully booked. The front-of-house staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. The place is extraordinary, filled with antique furniture, family memorabilia, and curios. If we ever make it back to Malang, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

So comfortable, and it's easy to find food near Fendi,s guest house. There's so much antique stuff here. Have a nice trip if you stay at Fendi,s guest house while traveling to malang east java.

The antique furniture is the best part. It brings back memories of lovely things from my grandpa and grandma. The room, service, and location were comfortable enough, with a friendly atmosphere and a low rate, though there's no breakfast. Cold and hot water are already provided in the bathroom. You also don't have to worry about finding meals, since it's right in the middle of Malang's traditional, Chinese, and fast-food options.
