Breakfast is now split between halal and non-halal. The halal food is served in the restaurant next door, under the same management. It isn’t halal-certified, but they serve a no pork no lard menu, so it’s worth checking whether they use mirin. I had a spacious, clean Superior room for three nights, with plenty of room for four people. The location is great, and I’d definitely come back.

Check-in and check-out took way too long, and there was no hot shower. The free breakfast felt like a scam.

I wouldn’t stay here again. For this price, I’d go somewhere else. The driver's room is behind the garage in the hotel basement, and it feels like being trapped in a cellar. If it were inside the hotel rather than in the garage, the comfort would be totally different. The room itself is big enough for a bed and a small desk, which is all you need, but it’s very noisy all the time. The door has ventilation slats, and the corridor opens onto an inner courtyard directly connected to the street. There were no towels, sheets to cover up with, soap, or even toilet paper. At night I had to use a scarf as a cover.

The bathroom sink’s push button only runs water for about two seconds. The shower takes around ten minutes to get lukewarm and never turns hot.
