We felt safe during our two nights here. The hotel is outside Malang, so it's quieter, and getting a cheap Grab into the center was easy. There's an ATM across the road and an Indomart nearby. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and we got a free drink when we arrived. They also arranged our trip to the Waterfall for us. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the dining hall felt clean and safe for eating. Our room was on the small side, but there was still space to walk around. It had carpet, WiFi, and A/C. The bed was quite hard, though not too uncomfortable. The shower and toilet were separate, and towels were provided. The bathroom areas felt a bit old and could use updating. The fridge unfortunately didn't get cold.

I expected this to be similar to Ibis Bandung in level and service, but it didn't come close. That was really disappointing. The hotel feels old and run-down, service was lacking in several ways, and the whole place could use a renovation.

I love the warm-water pool here. It's become my favorite pool, even when I'm not staying at the hotel. The staff on duty are always ready to help, so the small parking lot is still easy to get in and out of. The room's atmosphere makes me want to rest and sleep well. Having the bathroom and toilet separate is more comfortable when two people are taking turns. I liked the food too, the seasoning was just right for me.

We had a great stay. The hotel is on the main road, with a few shops and restaurants within walking distance. There's also a spa inside, and it was great!

The pastry by reception was delicious, and the Engineering team went the extra mile. I've visited twice now and haven't seen much change. The breakfast menu is the one thing that needs improvement, it was underpar.
