The glass window from the room to the corridor is a nice idea for bringing in light, but the corridor light stays on all night. The room itself was dusty everywhere, including the floor, toilet, and bathroom. It looked like they only changed the sheets. The bed was very small and not especially comfortable. It was listed as a single bed perfect for two, which made me think the listing was a mistake, but it really was just a single. WiFi was very weak, and there was no hot shower. It’s okay for a few nights.

The check-in system is online and a bit risky. We completed the online check-in and initially worried we wouldn’t get a room, but luckily someone was there to ask. Jardin should improve that process. The place itself was comfortable, clean, and good for the price. The room exhaust worked well, and with Malang’s cool weather we didn’t need air conditioning. Food stalls and a minimart are about a 10-minute walk away.
