I visited in August 2015, and the place gave me a scary first impression. I guessed the hotel had first been used in 1989, and the carpet in the room looked like it had never been replaced with a better one. I found a spider, and the toilet flush leaked. Noise on Friday and Saturday nights was disruptive, especially in rooms near the restaurant. The restaurant was good despite being small. From the ground floor you can see the ceiling of the top floor, which may make it feel cozy. Service was average. Their wake-up calls were unreliable: some days they knocked at the door, another day they called, and once they did nothing. Be ready to wake yourself up.

The staff were lovely and let us check in at 8am at no extra cost after a horrible train trip. It was good value, fairly quiet, and the Indonesian breakfast was nice. WiFi was a bit frustrating. The first night was 399k rupiah, later nights were 350k, and breakfast cost another 50k per person. The pool looked neat, but we didn't have time to try it.

I was here for a wedding. The meeting room had enough space for all the guests, and the buffet from a well-known outside hotel catering service was excellent. Parking was extremely limited, and we couldn't find a spot. Our driver dropped us at the meeting room entrance, then left and picked us up after the event.

The room was dusty, the bathroom leaked, and the interior looked outdated and poorly maintained. The WiFi didn't work, and the swimming pool was dirty. This isn't suitable for families or children. A lesson learned. Check the reviews before booking.
