OYO 3704 Griya Dewandaru

The service was good.

I was allowed to stay until noon in the end, and the new-shift staff apologized. They were surprised that anyone had told me to leave at 2 a.m. The earlier staff member, though, insisted that I was already overtime because the homestay supposedly runs on 12-hour stays. I’d checked in Saturday at 2 p.m., so I thought checkout was Sunday at noon, as with other OYOs. I don’t know whether OYO or the homestay was at fault, but the whole thing was really uncomfortable. When I called OYO customer service, they accused me of causing a disturbance. I asked for the CCTV footage and got nothing. I’m certain I wasn’t a nuisance or causing trouble. It felt like the usual OYO excuse for avoiding an issue. There was a monitoring screen at reception, so wouldn’t any disturbance have shown up on CCTV? I went back to complain to the receptionist, but the shift had changed. After I explained what happened, the new staff apologized. The apology came from them, not the person who’d said I had to leave at 2 a.m.

The room was clean and really comfortable, with cold AC and just-right hot water. A good spot if you’re staying near Suhat.

The place and rooms were clean and comfortable. It’d be nice to have an outlet for cash and a few clothes hangers.
