For 6€, I know I can’t really complain, but the online pictures should reflect the actual place. They show a front desk that isn’t even there, and the property looks nothing like the photos. The room was dirty, old, and yellowish. There was no hot water, the toilet didn’t work, and there wasn’t a sink. I even suspected the sheets hadn’t been changed, so I used my own towel to sleep under. The first mattress was really dirty, but I was able to switch rooms, which was good. I know reviews matter a lot to accommodations, and I want to be fair to everyone. I hope this helps others planning to visit Malang 🙏🏼.

I feel comfortable here. The rooms have windows, they’re spacious and well priced, with AC and an ensuite toilet. The women downstairs who look after the property were kind and helpful, and let me choose a room. It’s quiet inside, with just the usual traffic noise outside. Nobody has disturbed me or knocked on my door.

Some facilities were already damaged, but visitors were still blamed and charged the full fine. The place felt uncomfortable, and even though the damage was known, nothing was repaired right away. They just left it as it was.

The room was really like a warehouse. My younger sibling stayed there on Saturday, October 26, 2024, and found a musty pillowcase with a few brownish stains that hadn’t been changed. When they checked out on October 27, 2024, the elderly woman serving at the inn inspected the room and, with a sour look, told my sibling, “Water spilled on the sheets and blanket.” A Chinese person, possibly the owner, was also unfriendly when asked questions. It’s not far from Blimbing Station or the Soekarno-Hatta area in Malang.
