The owner’s response was strange. Why would I have been given an unfinished room? We asked to switch, and the bathroom in the new room had mold too. In the four rooms we saw, there were spots of mold, including huge black patches in the bathrooms. The sheets and towels were dusty and stained, and every room had a leaking faucet. Bathrooms were stained and seemed to get only a hurried floor wipe, not a proper clean. Someone cleaned a room very quickly while we were there. During a multi-night stay, our room was never cleaned. There was no room service or refrigerator, hardly any closet storage, and no nightstands or bedside lights. This is not a real homestay, nobody lives there, it’s just a cheap hotel. Two mosques right next door meant lots of noise at 4:00am. The workers were friendly, the roof terrace was really nice, the location was good, and the Warung across the street is worth recommending. It is cheap, but that doesn't justify the lies on the Booking.com page.
