Biz Boulevard Hotel

I hate leaving a review like this, but I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel room this dirty. It was absolutely filthy and needs a serious deep scrub. The room itself is fine for a quick one-night stay and has what you need, but the cleanliness was appalling. Sorry.

The water heater didn’t work for either warm or cold water, and there was no second faucet in the bathroom area for ablution. There was no shampoo or body wash when I stayed. I didn’t complain because only the receptionist was at the front desk. A room boy was available when I wanted to check out the room. Maybe these are just my impressions.

The view is nice. Ask for an upper-floor room with a north-facing window. The room design is nice too, but it’s way too small, with nowhere to put clothes. If you’re traveling with a suitcase, you should skip this hotel. The bathroom looks nice but hadn’t been cleaned properly. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet, they gave us a meal box instead.

The location is strategic, which is a big plus. Rooms are small but clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. For Rp 350,000 net, though, I’ve had better as well as worse. It might do for a short stay, but I’m not sure I’d recommend it for longer. The bathroom needs more attention to detail. There was greenish residue around the toilet seat attachments, dried water spots all over the shower glass, and the stainless steel frame looked dirty. There were also drilled holes in the tiles above the sliding glass door from what I assume were earlier repairs, and they could be filled in. No ice cubes were available when I asked, possibly because there’s no ice machine. The room had just one packet of instant coffee and two sugar sachets, no tea bags, plus two 0.3-liter bottles of water and an electric kettle. Towels arrived only after I asked, perhaps housekeeping overlooked them. They were clean but a little spotty. There are only six parking spaces in front of the hotel. One was occupied by parked motorcycles, and there was no security guard on duty.
