Victoria Inn

We booked two rooms and ended up leaving for another hotel. In one, the air conditioning barely cooled; in the other, the toilet leaked at the base onto the bathroom floor. The outside doors didn't seal, so smoke from people smoking below us came through the gaps as if they were in our room. The sheets were old and yellowed. I'm not sure why there are so many 5 star reviews.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the pool itself was okay. But the area around it was dirty and dated, and the shower room was very dirty too. The breakfast was acceptable, though the food was lukewarm and there wasn't any milk or cream for coffee. For a hotel described as 4 stars, the lobby needs to be cleaner and needs more seats. The beauty vendor there makes it feel cramped and seemed useless. Room 212's bathroom and shower curtain weren't clean, the balcony was dirty, and the sliding door was broken. There's no elevator, which may be fine for younger guests, but what about older people? The TV remote often froze and was hard to use. The room amenities were very poor for a 4-star hotel, as Google also describes it. These problems need fixing if the business wants customers to return.

For a low-budget hotel, it's not bad. The room was pretty good, and there's a pool for both kids and adults. It's about 10 minutes from the airport. Breakfast was okay, but I wouldn't recommend it much since the food choices weren't varied. There's no elevator to the fourth floor.

The room has good facilities for the price. They should improve their health protocols, though. The receptionist should wear a mask, that's a basic measure. It would've been better if breakfast were delivered to each room too.
