Be careful with the 'garden-view' rooms. Ours faced the car park and a church that blasts worship music and sermons every morning from 4 am to 6:30 am.

From the jetty, the ocean view is stunning. You can see what must be millions of fish, including bluefin trevallies darting around after prey. Mr. Marsel was especially welcoming and knows a lot about local cultures and landmarks. The staff were exceptional, and the food was quite good at prices comparable to local restaurants. This place turned my business trip to Manokwari into a vacation, and it was incredible value for the price.

The restaurant food was always satisfying. The fresh fish and seafood were well cooked, with a wonderful mix of spices. I'll miss the food very much. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I felt truly welcome. I stayed at Mansinam Beach Hotel for more than a week in July-August 2022. It's a wonderful place, with a large, clean room and a very comfortable bed made with good materials, which really matters for a good night's sleep. The views from both the room and restaurant are stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. Definitely the best place to stay in Manokwari.

The hotel is just outside the city, beside the ocean. There's no beach for swimming, but it's calm and peaceful. We stayed four nights, and our standard room was cleaned every day. Service was excellent. For example, the receptionist helped me sort out SIM card issues. The adjacent Cafe Laut restaurant serves delicious Indonesian and Papuan dishes such as papeda.
