Bambootel Sawah View

Ari took care of us from the moment we arrived, and Manik kept checking that we were comfortable. They both made us feel valued and at home. The room was beautifully set up, the bed was super comfy, and relaxing by the private pool with that unbeatable view was a highlight. Breakfast was delicious, especially the Indonesian fried noodles. This team gave us such lovely memories, and I’ll definitely recommend the place to friends.

It’s about a 30-minute drive from Ubud town, which gives the place a quieter, more private feel. We had a lovely time here. The setting is serene, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere, and the staff were genuinely warm and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and the welcome drink and happy hour drink were nice bonuses. Even the soft pillows made a difference to getting a great night’s sleep. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

The staff helped with all kinds of questions and recommended sights to visit, and Redika and Manik were always there when I needed something. In the rainy season, small insects may be more common, but the staff addressed my concerns, so it wasn’t a problem. The villa and shared areas are exquisite, with an incredible view of the rice terrace, and breakfast had lots of fresh, tasty choices. I’m so glad Bambootel Sawah View was where I stayed on my first visit to Bali. I really enjoyed the canang class with Saiya, and I’d recommend the spa massage too. The cocktails were some of the best I’ve tried, thanks to the effort Adi and Ngakan put into them. The hotel even gave me my favorite massage oil and its essential oil version. I was looking for a relaxing holiday and that’s exactly what I got. Bambootel Sawah View took such good care of me and made the whole experience lovely. I’d definitely recommend it.

For our honeymoon we ordered a floating breakfast and flower pool decoration, and both were totally worth it. The villa and its view are gorgeous, and staying at the bambootel villas felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Everyone was so kind and accommodating with our requests. Mr. Pasek at the front desk, the room service staff who brought breakfast, and our drivers Nanda and Deva were all wonderful. The drivers and staff also speak very good English, which made it easy to explain what we needed.
