Arasatu Villas and Sanctuary

We’re already planning to return to Arasatu with our family this Christmas. After seven wonderful nights, it’s become one of my favorite destinations, and I can’t wait to be back. The sky roof was such a lovely touch. We could lie in bed and look up at the stars, and the room itself was perfect. The location was just right too, especially for those breathtaking sunsets from the restaurant. The food was incredible, fresh, and varied, and the chef was happy to accommodate our needs. A big thank you to him and his team for their hard work and friendly manner. The staff made sure we had everything we wanted. Special mention to Farhan, and to Pastika, who was professional, warm, always available, and made arranging tours and sightseeing feel effortless.

We only had three nights at Arasatu, but it felt magical. Dinner was delicious, and eating while the sun went down was a lovely way to finish each day. Our sea bungalow, F08, was spacious, stylish, and tidy. We spent time relaxing on the deck and even jumped straight into the sea from it. At night, the comfortable bed and opening the sky roof to see the stars gave us exactly the calm, restful feeling we wanted. Every member of staff put in so much effort and greeted us with a smile, from the pier pickup and check-in to the restaurant and housekeeping teams. Maratua really is paradise, and Arasatu is the place to stay if you want to appreciate it fully. Stop reading and start booking!

Everything else about our honeymoon felt perfect: the place was secluded and peaceful, the facilities and service were really good, and the food was great. With the full-board package we had three meals and two coffee breaks, so there was no need to worry about going hungry. The only real hassle was getting there. The three-hour boat ride was tiring, and the boat itself wasn’t very comfortable. One suggestion: it would be nice if documentation were included in the package, so honeymoon guests like us could have plenty of memories captured 🖤.

We stopped by with our two young kids for a drink, thinking children under nine weren’t allowed to stay. Turns out they can, though parents need to keep a close eye on them with water all around. The place is absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed the sunset. Our son even got to feed the fish. Best of luck to you guys!
