We arrived at night and lasted only 40 minutes before leaving for another place. The mold on the walls smelled so bad that it was hard to breathe, and the trash bin still had rubbish from previous guests. The air conditioner was broken, and there wasn’t a towel in the room. When I asked the staff for one, it was yellowish, almost brown, and smelled awful, like it had come from the colonial era 😭. I know the price is cheap, but hotels and rooms at the same price can be much better. The hotel really needs renovation and a deep clean. The black marks on the sheets could be washed off with bleach or dish soap and hot water. As a hotelier, I feel bad writing this, but I hope you can take it as advice 😭🙏🏻

There’s a durian shop in the front yard, so the smell is strong, though you get used to it. Street noise goes on around the clock, and you can hear vehicles all the time. If you get lucky, you’ll get a room without mold. The room was clean, there’s hot water for showers, and it’s fairly close to the center, with food and Indomaret within walking distance. Overall, it’s a good place for a night or two.

The service was great and the showers had hot water. It’s only a couple of kilometers from the center. Unfortunately, the room was suffocating because of the mold and heavy damp smell. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with asthma or other respiratory problems. Buildings in this area seem to have been badly affected by the 2018 earthquake.

The room was spacious and parking was available, but cleanliness and hospitality need a lot of work. There’s a durian shop in the building, so expect a strong smell. It’s an affordable place to stay.

It’s close to places to eat and a museum, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The room was moldy and humid, and road noise made it loud. It felt like living in a rat’s den 🤧. I’m worried I’d develop health problems if I stayed much longer.
