Hastina Hotel Lombok

For the price, I was very happy with both stays, one in the female dorm and one in a standard room. The beds were good quality, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean each time. Service was great too. Mataram Emigrasi is a 7 min bike ride away.

The worst part was the bed bugs. The blanket hadn't been washed, the bathroom was dirty, and there was nowhere to put even a small soap in the shower. The towel smelled bad too. It's a budget hotel, but the blanket still needs washing. Stay away, it wasn't worth it even for the few hours we were there.

We spent five nights here. The room was clean, the hot shower worked, and the aircon was good. It's a nice budget stay, and the staff are kind and helpful even though they don't speak much English. The only unpleasant thing was people sometimes playing loud music at 6:30 am.

The female capsule bed was really comfy, but there isn't much luggage space. They give you a small locked locker that fits a cabin-size suitcase, with toilet roll, a toothbrush, and small toothpaste inside. The showers are hot, though cleanliness could be better. Twice I saw cleaners fold towels left by previous guests and put them in the locker for the next person. I used my own because those towels smelled so bad.
