I had a terrible experience here and want to warn both tourists and locals in Lombok. I say it’s a scam because they used deceptive tactics to take my money without giving me the service we’d agreed on. They didn’t seem honest, and I felt visitors were being targeted. Save yourself the money and stress, and stay away. Don’t trust promises from this business. Really disappointing and dishonest.

I paid over 300 for a week and found out the hotel was supposedly fictitious. The photos and address or location were said to be stolen and nonexistent, and I was sent to a local person’s house instead. I don’t know how many people have been victims. I’m all right with losing the money because I earned it legally, while the scammer took it illegally. The owner will answer for their sins.

I work at a hotel, and this was my first booking. I planned to apply for a passport and find work on Gili Trawangan, but instead I got scammed. I believe the prayers of people who’ve been wronged are answered. May I become rich, aamiin, and may whoever made the fake address get what’s coming to them soon.

Think of all the people who might have been tricked, including those without money who could end up with nowhere to stay for the night. This place doesn’t exist, so don’t be tempted by the low price. NEVER BOOK AT KOS MONCOK.
