Hotel Wailiti

The kids loved the pool, but we left after just a couple of nights. The rooms are large and clean, and the facilities are nice. We were there in peak season and seemed to be the only guests, yet staff couldn't answer our basic questions about getting around or things to do. The area is remote, though the nearby wuring fishermen village is fascinating. The restaurant food was overpriced and not very tasty. It's a pity the staff couldn't provide basic help.

Breakfast was amazingly big and tasty. The place is a bit outside the city, which suited us perfectly, with lots of space around. It seemed like we were the only hotel guests. Just keep in mind that people from outside can also use the swimming pool by buying vouchers.

We’ll come back here. The service, rooms, and food were all very nice.

The garden-like grounds have walking paths, and the hotel can make you forget you’re in the city. The beach is quite beautiful at sunrise and sunset, even though it isn’t very long due to some abrasive. Food and drinks weren’t the best, but were good enough for us. Room rates are affordable, including some options friendly to backpackers, and the hotel offers water activities.
