The room is old.

Cool.

The room was comfortable, but after showering the wet floor gets slippery, especially on the ceramic tiles. There isn't a doormat by the bathroom door.

That wooden bed is the one thing I'd suggest changing. It makes an uncomfortable sound, and a full spring bed would be better. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, and the service is good. It's also close to everything in central Medan, which made it comfortable for a stopover and left me wanting to vacation in Medan again.
