For what I paid, having a room right in Medan's culinary heart made me really satisfied. It was small, but fine for us. The hot water worked, and we had AC, Wi-Fi, and a TV. We only used the room to sleep, so I had no complaints.

A good breakfast buffet, and a cheap, comfortable place to stay right by one of Medan's best areas for food trips. I'd recommend it to backpackers.

The room was clean and had air conditioning and hot water, but no window. The air wasn't great, with a damp, cigarette smell. It's near Selat Panjang food street.

For a budget hotel, this was way too poor. It felt old and dark, and the bed was so worn I could feel the springs.

There's no Wi-Fi in the rooms. The hotel is in the middle of Chinatown, and the staff are friendly, with some able to speak English.
