The location was handy, right by a supermarket and shopping mall, and the people were very nice. I stayed five nights. The reception staff were friendly, and the room always smelled fresh. It was cleaned very thoroughly, with spotless bed linens. The coffee was good too.

The room was clean and neat, though at roughly 20 m2 it felt a little small for us. There was a small wall-mounted TV, and the shower was in the same bathroom as the toilet. Amenities were standard, but there was no hairdryer. We paid about IDR 350K per night for a standard corner room with a double bed, which seemed like a standard price. We picked the hotel for its location, and that part was great. Murni Teguh Memorial Hospital and the City Rail Link Train Stattion were an eight-minute walk away. The East Lobby of the Centre Point Mall Medan was only three minutes on foot. There’s an Indomaret along the way, where you can get a tasty coffee for IDR 12K. A couple of practical issues: our room had only one free wall socket, so you may need your own extra power plug if you’re charging several devices or using a hairdryer. We could hear voices outside very clearly, and our neighbor kept coming in and out late at night and slamming the door. That got annoying. There wasn’t an electric kettle either, but water dispensers are available on each floor. Breakfast isn’t provided, and I don’t think there’s a restaurant inside. There is a café next door, connected by a glass door, and several other breakfast options a few minutes’ walk away. The staff were nice and willing to help, and we had a good stay.

We stayed here twice. The second time, it looked like the linens hadn’t been changed, but the staff replaced them when we asked. The rooms are quite small, though everything else was good. It’s easy to walk to Central station for the trip to Medan airport, and there’s a large shopping mall nearby.

I asked for clean bed sheets and ended up waiting from 12:40 PM until 1:15 AM. The hotel had no clean sheets available. That was what I had to deal with.
