The location worked really well, with plenty of places to eat and a mall nearby. The bed was comfortable, and both the AC and hot water were strong. The sink was very dirty, though, and our room opened onto the common area, so it was noisy. That may not be true of every room. For the price it was a solid choice for one night, but I wouldn't stay longer than a night or two.

I ended up extending my stay because the place was very clean and the staff were kind and helpful with whatever I needed. It's a little cramped and not close to public services, but the service is good and the daily rate of about 230k makes the size feel reasonable. A relaxing place to stay.

For the price, the room was decent, though the location is a bit outside the center. The window is covered by an acrylic panel, so there's no view outside and the room feels closed in. Also, I had to go all the way up to the 3rd floor on stairs before finding out the wi-fi password.

This RedDoorz has been my favorite so far, with nice decor and an affordable price. The room had AC, hot water, and a TV with international channels. Lots of useful places are nearby, about 5-10 minutes on foot, including Indomarts, cafes, merdeka fair mall, laundry service, the post office, and Bolu Meranti. They could do a better job cleaning under the bed and in the corners. The staff also didn't know much about Medan or public transportation.
