The rooms were dirty, with lots of cockroaches, mothballs in every corner of the room and bathroom, and even a worm in the bathroom. We had requested non-smoking rooms, but those weren't available, so we had to put up with cigarette smells throughout our stay. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. My family and I checked in on the day of our booking and paid the full amount in cash, but the hotel marked us as no-shows and charged my credit card the full stay again as a no-show fee. When we asked about it, the receptionists were very irresponsible.
6/10
The rates were very reasonable, breakfast was included, and the hotel was well located and easy to find. Breakfast was basic, just fried rice and noodles, with tea and coffee available. They didn't provide free bottled water, the first hotel in Asia I've stayed at that didn't. Despite a no-smoking sign, smoking seemed to be allowed throughout the building. Staff said every room had smoke fumes. That's a problem if you're a non-smoker or have small children you don't want breathing it in. We stayed one night, then moved because of the cigarette smell and smoking.
2/10
One staff member was unfriendly and gave poor service. He couldn't answer our questions clearly or politely, which left us disappointed.
8/10
The food was good and the service was pleasant. Getting to the location, though, wasn't very easy.
6/10
A good hotel, but there was no water in the room.
