The staff at k77 guesthouse were so friendly that our planned stopover in Medan turned into a really pleasant stay. They helped us plan our trip and arranged for a tourist bus to pick us up for the next destination. Breakfast was delicious and filling! :)

The neighborhood gives you a nice taste of everyday life in Medan, though the guesthouse isn't in the city center. I don't think there's a lot to see in Medan anyway. The place itself is lovely, clean, and has good beds, with really helpful people.

Such a lovely place, run by the kindest, most helpful couple and their children. I was exhausted on my first night, and the three children brought home-cooked Indonesian food up to my room. It's clean and spacious. I'm travelling north, but I'll come back before I leave Sumatra. Highly recommend 😀

The breakfast was amazing, and Lola was so friendly. It's a great guesthouse, with a clean room and bathroom. We'll come back if we pass through Medan again!

Lola and her kids were so welcoming and hospitable that we felt right at home. The guesthouse was clean all over. The mosque's prayer call is blasted at 430am, so bring earplugs.
