OYO 1766 Vandolia Guest House

The room was roomy, and the guest house was nice. The price was cheap, too.

I’ve stayed at Vandolia guest house twice, and the price was different each time, 160 once and 170 the other. On my latest visit, I’d only used the room for about three hours and stepped out briefly, but it had already been sold to someone else even though my checkout time hadn’t passed. Nobody gave me a reason. We’re paying guests, not staying for free, so the owner should make sure the guard speaks to people with basic courtesy. Management should also address how guests are spoken to.

When I came back to collect my things, somebody else was already in my room. That’s happened along with checkout times that seem unpredictable. If I check in at night, they always use a raid as the excuse. Management needs to sort this out. They should respect the 12-hour stay and make guests comfortable instead of intimidating them.

I won't stay here again. The guards looked and spoke like thugs, and lots of their friends gathered around reception. The place had a Texas sort of feel. The room was fairly spacious, with two desks and a closet. The AC wasn't cold enough, the TV had no working channels, and the toilet wasn't great. The towels were worn, though they smelled nice. There were tea bags, two cups, and tissues in the room. Downstairs there's a water dispenser, and parking is inside a fenced area, which felt safer.
