It was a strategic place for a one-night stay, and easy to get around the city on foot. Pajak Ikan Lama is nearby. The hotel itself wasn't well maintained, though the room was okay.

For the price, I could probably find somewhere much nicer. There were ants in both the bathroom and bedroom, but the staff were nice and the bed was comfortable. The place felt almost apocalyptic, with the lift boarded up, the restaurant dormant, and often nobody at the desk.

I stayed here eight years ago, when the accommodation was still new and clean. It's old now, and the room may not be clean enough. The air conditioning didn't work well. If you don't expect too much, it's okay for what you pay.

For a stay in Medan, it was worth it at just 25 SGD for a room with a queen bed. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were good and clean, though the AC felt a little weak for the room's size. The place is still being renovated.

They're upgrading the facilities for security. I had a nice, restful stay overall, and food and transport were easy to get to.
