Yvel Homestay by OYO Rooms

I’m visiting from outside Sumatra and this was my first time staying here. Honestly, it was very bad. They limit when you can return or go out at night, like living in a dorm, and morning check-in is restricted to 8 a.m. That was a real problem for me because I had an early flight. The way they handled my ID also made me very uncomfortable.

The room was poor, the bathroom door wouldn’t close, and the mattress was so bad I could feel the metal as soon as I lay down. I will not stay here again. Very much not recommended. When I went to check in, they asked me to pay again even though I’d already paid when booking, so I had to pay twice.

The sleeping area wasn’t pleasant, and the service was bad. They asked for extra property fees and claimed they were from Oyo. When I asked to see the memo, he stammered through his answer. I asked him to call my boss, and he just gasped. They had no manners.

I paid through the app in cash via m-banking, but this hotel still wanted an extra payment. If there are additional fees, the app should include them in the price instead of asking customers to pay outside the app. I don't think this hotel is honest. I complained to the app, but that only made things more complicated 👎👎👎
