We'd happily come back. Our family had a great time with the facilities, especially the mini zoo, large playgrounds, and well-kept pool. The ATV and buggy rides were fun extras, though they cost more. We did miss the Jeep show because it only ran at 2:30 PM, while we were checking in and getting our room ready. A morning show after breakfast as well would give more guests a chance to see it.

We stayed in the Rubicon room and had a really nice time. JSI has a peaceful setting, away from all the noise, and the facilities were great for families. The mini zoo and roomy playgrounds made it a fun experience. Very recommended for families. Thank you, JSI, keep up the great service and success 🙏

The fresh air was a real plus, and breakfast was decent. The staff were friendly, though their communication and coordination could be better. The facilities were acceptable, but the food selection was limited and a bit expensive. If you're coming with young children, I'd ask for a room on a lower floor. Bring snacks too, since there aren't any minimarts nearby. We tried the resort for two nights in a Gladiator room after checking out of RSRG Cisarua, encouraged by its four-star rating and positive reviews. It didn't quite live up to what we expected.

Pak Deni Setiadi was the one bright spot. The security guard was genuinely friendly, chatted with us at checkout, and made sure a buggy came to collect us. I wish the rest of the team showed the same hospitality. The Cherokee Tent looked stylish, but it was a poor fit for a peaceful getaway. It sits beside a steep road, and engines and "telolet" bus horns were loud through the night. For a quieter stay, the Gladiator rooms or villas farther in by the river seem a better choice. There were dirty plates left outside our tent from the previous guest until morning, which attracted animals, and the AC leaked. Getting around was frustrating too. Buggy drivers avoided eye contact and ignored me twice. A female staff member told me to contact them on WhatsApp when I asked for help, but nobody replied for more than an hour. She was meanwhile yelling at another staff member so she could ride on his motorcycle. The restaurant was chaotic. Chairs were disorganized, and there was no cutlery or tissue. The food was just okay. The egg station chef forgot my order, acted oddly rude, and wouldn't let a guest use condiments that were right in front of them. Crumbs stayed on the floor for an hour, and our table's dirty plates weren't cleared. Check-in was a mess as well. I arrived at 3:30 PM and found four families waiting with just one receptionist on duty, because the other person's shift had reportedly ended. Staff brushed off requests made through online bookings, so calling them directly may work better. From check-in to checkout, I didn't get a single smile or greeting, despite hearing JSI was known for top-tier service. Staff seemed to avoid or ignore guests. For a four-star hotel, that was disappointing, and I'd rather stay at a smaller place with warmer service. Management should seriously review its SOPs. I hope nobody else has this experience.

The Cherokee tent room made for a unique stay, and I'd recommend trying it. The resort has a mini zoo and a new playground for children aged 2-12.
