Dikaloha Medewi Surfcamp

The staff made a huge difference for us. Everyone was kind, attentive, and welcoming. Room service was great, laundry was quick and easy, and they even lent us a scooter for free. They also helped arrange a birthday surprise for my mom, decorating the room with balloons. It became one of her best birthdays ever. Our rooms felt fresh, modern, and comfortable, and were spacious and spotless. My parents had the large, elegant honeymoon suite. My boyfriend and I stayed in a lovely double room with a luxurious bath and an unusual indoor-outdoor feel, and my sister was happy with her room too. The hotel also arranged surf lessons right on the beach. Our instructor was fantastic, patient, friendly, and a great teacher. We had a perfect family holiday in Medewi. The hotel is in a quiet, peaceful spot, a short walk from the beach and from nice, inexpensive restaurants. Its own restaurant served delicious food, and breakfast was included and great. The warm hospitality, lovely rooms, and thoughtful touches made the stay exceed our expectations. We’d absolutely recommend it, 10/10, and will be back on our next Bali trip.

I only stayed one night, but I’ll definitely come back. The peaceful setting is great, the rooms are clean and comfy, and the view from the top floor is breathtaking. The showers are the besttt. Breakfast was included and it was great, with vegan options. The staff are so nice too!

The staff were thoughtful about our belongings. We accidentally left three chargers when checking out, and they replied kindly on WhatsApp and sent them back to us. We booked a Family Room, which worked perfectly for us, with what felt like two rooms joined by a door. The hotel had everything we needed: clean, spacious rooms, a lovely pool, good parking, and a beautiful beachfront with good surfing waves. Breakfast was delicious. It’s a perfect stop on a road trip to or from Java.

The room was large, number 12, though it could have used more than one working power outlet. The bathroom floor was slippery, which isn’t unusual for Bali. Still, five stars from me, and breakfast was well prepared. The hotel has its own restaurant, with more places to eat nearby, and a great beachside massage parlour is a five-minute walk away. There’s also a lovely beach and a pool that’s big enough for a small swim.
