Raden Wijaya Hotel

We used the different rooms and suites for both formal and informal meetings during our 5 -6 years program in Mojokerto city. There was plenty of parking near our room, which was great, and the staff were super friendly. The stay was very comfortable. Breakfast came with salad on the buffet as well as delicate menu from east java culinary. Keep up the good work.

There are balconies and a sofa with a coffee table outside each room, and the interiors feel fairly modern. The WiFi worked well enough, and the TVs had international channels. Parking is spacious, and the meeting rooms and ballroom are modern; the ballroom is a new addition at the front. It's an older hotel that's been renovated, and I found it cozy and clean. Breakfast was much like what you'd expect at another two stars hotel, with no egg station. That's fine, though, since the other dishes tasted quite good.

The location makes it easy to find nearby restaurants for lunch, a place for evening coffee, or a 24H convenience store for a late grocery run. I spent one night here. The hotel has a historic feel and classic decor, and the room was very spacious with a large bed. I was very satisfied.

Staff were helpful, and the price was very reasonable. We had an executive room, though it didn't really feel like one, even with its very large bed. The hotel itself has an old, perhaps worn-out feel, and the shower's hot and cold water pressure kept changing, so bathing was an adventure. Raden Wijaya Hotel sits in Mojokerto's dusty, busy industrial centre, but historical sites are within walking distance. The city has that side as well as the old centre of the mojopahit empire.
