The staff were such lovely people, and a big thanks to them for making our three nights at Bali Rahayu so enjoyable. We had a cozy wooden cottage with a rice field view, plus a hot shower with strong water pressure. We also rented bikes and explored Munduk’s waterfalls, clove and coffee plantations, and walking routes beside the rice fields. It’s a beautiful area. We also really recommend booking a massage at the little spa on the upper part of the property. The masseuses came over and gave us a great one.

The family running this homestay near Gobleg in the Munduk mountains were friendly and always ready to help. We enjoyed the restaurant, the massages, and walks nearby. One note: 150k Rp per night for a child’s bed, which was really an old mattress, felt overpriced and unnecessary.

We booked a trip to the five waterfalls through reception. The driver dropped us at the trailhead and collected us later at the agreed spot. The walk took about three hours, and we paid the waterfall entrance fees there. It was a good value stay, with an on-site restaurant and transport arrangements available. The accommodation itself was charming and unusual, the pool had a beautiful view, and the staff were consistently helpful and friendly.

The WiFi worked well, and you can rent a scooter here. We were added to a WhatsApp group where we could ask questions, and the staff really did their best to make us feel at home and enjoy the area. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the views were amazing. We had planned three nights but changed our travel plans and left after two. Their policy didn’t allow refunds, but reception kindly checked again and returned the cost of one night. We’d already accepted the loss, so we really appreciated that. Thanks to the hotel team for the great service!

We had a perfect stay. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed, the staff were super nice, and the food was excellent. It’s been the best food we’ve had in Bali so far. Definitely recommend it.
