The little restaurant run by the same people is just a minute from the room. It’s a lovely setting, and the food was tasty and cheap. We ate there for our whole stay. The staff also arranged a moped for the day and onward travel at a good price. They were so helpful and honestly made the trip for us. The room was nice, with no fan, but evenings were cool enough.

A warm welcome, and a very clean, quiet place. Really nice spot to stay in Munduk. Would recommend.

We spent a few relaxing days here, with lovely green hills all around and a wonderfully peaceful corner of the area. The rooftop terrace has an even better view. The cottages have been renovated recently and are neatly furnished, and Ibu Made keeps everything clean and looks after her guests well. There’s a large bale bengong where friends or family can gather, so it’s a good fit for a group that wants to socialize and hike. Warungs are nearby, and the more touristy Munduk is within walking distance. Just come prepared for rain and chilly weather.

We stayed two nights in Munduk, a little outside the center. You can walk from the accommodation to three waterfalls, and there’s a warung right next door. The owner rents scooters, which are essential for getting around Munduk since there are no Grab (local buses).
