Surrounded by rice fields, it's a great family vacation spot. Getting here is tricky by car, and you can't drive right up to the entrance, so a motorbike is better. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They let us cook in their kitchen, and didn't charge extra for iced tea. Prices were affordable. The pool water isn't treated with chemicals and is cleaned manually. They'd just finished cleaning it while we were there, so it wasn't full yet. The shared toilet was clean enough, though some of the cabins needed cleaning.

The staff were friendly and sorted out scooter rentals, plus gave us tips for hiking to nearby waterfalls. The huts look lovely, and while they're simple inside, they were clean. Set among rice fields with sunset views, the place has a big pool and the frogs and crickets make for a soothing soundtrack. It gets colder here at night than in other parts of Bali, so ask for another blanket if you need one. Breakfast is continental, and the portions seem to follow the same mysterious standard we found elsewhere in Bali. At Puri Sunny Camp the cooking was among the better versions, especially the fried egg.

We paid 35k each to get in, and it’s a lovely spot to cool off. The pool wasn’t completely clean, but that didn’t put me off. I really like the locals, they’re so friendly. There were around 15 kids splashing and playing, which I’m glad the place allows, though a quieter swim would’ve been nice. Still, it’s a great place.

We only came for the pool, not to stay overnight. It cost 35k per person, and the setting between two rice terraces is incredible. There was hardly anyone around besides a few local young men, which was perfect.

A good spot to escape the busy city, with a cottage set among rice fields and mountains. A few things need attention, though: the room and bathroom door locks should be fixed, and the shower faucet needs replacing so hot and cold water can be mixed properly.
