Villa Sentai is beautifully kept, with lovely gardens and good facilities, and the central Nemberala location worked perfectly. Sharon, Deano, and the rest of the staff were warm and helpful throughout. My room was simple but nicely presented. After unusually heavy rain, though, the thatched roof leaked and left a large wet patch on the bed. I was alone, so I could sleep on the dry side. A few things kept this from being a five-star stay for me. The food was ordinary, and with plenty of good places to eat nearby, I’d skip the food package. I think they’d be better off offering breakfast and focusing on quality. Wi-Fi worked best at the bar, which was busy and noisy, so private calls home were difficult. A range extender might help. I also had a scare when my surf boat didn’t stay with me. I was caught in a strong current at T-Lands, and the driver was nowhere around. I was getting exhausted trying to fight it, but managed to wave down another resort boat for a pickup. It rattled me. Villa Sentai was fantastic overall, and some improvements could make it five stars.
