They moved me to a different room after I reported smoke in my non-smoking room, which I appreciated. The staff were good, and the hotel itself is nice. As a light sleeper, I liked having a quiet floor on level 7. There is Google voice control in the room, though it only handled room service and ambient noise. It wasn't connected to the lights, temperature controls or entertainment system yet.

Breakfast was awesome, and the hotel was clean and nice. The warm welcome and service from reception staff Mr Aris and trainee Ms Rania really stood out. Mr David was always ready to help with our luggage and opened the door with a smile. I'd come back when I'm in kediri again. Keep up the good work, these staff are a real gem.

The food was great, in my opinion, and the cafe doubles as the breakfast hall. I forgot to take photos, but the room was spacious and very clean, with a nice bathroom and hot shower. There's also a meeting room. The parking area is roomy, though it's outdoors. So far, this is the best place I've stayed in Kediri.

For a quieter visit near the Gumul area, Fave Hotel Kediri is a good option. It's some distance from the city center, but that location gives the stay a more peaceful feel. Every room has a Google Nest, which adds a bit of modern tech to the experience. Parking is spacious and outdoors, with no covered spaces. The food is fairly ordinary, nothing memorable, but it does the job. It's a solid, comfortable base for exploring Gumul.
